we have received a few calls and visits.

but what do you say when people ask "where have you been"?

Who are the "Inactive"?

this was my starting point in this journey of rediscovery, and i've made great strides, but here i am again asking the same question.

all this talk re the rc and the shunning of the inactive ones.

there is no announcement made obviously about "shun sister so-and-so, as she is inactive.

i just wanted to take a minute to say "hi" and welcome to the site for anyone who's come here from jwr.

i can imagine the site being shut down suddenly was shocking and unsettling for many who relied on it and sometimes you don't realize how much you do rely on something until it is gone.. hopefully you'll see some of the same familiar names appearing and be able to reconnect with people you knew via this site and continue your journey together.

i don't know what the posting policies on jwr were but know it as a moderated site so can't imagine them being hugely different to the ones here.

i heard today about a former jw/now apostate who is dying in hospital.

this information was accompanied by the comment of "wouldn't be awful to be lying there in hospital,dying as an apostate!

i underwent an operation a few weeks ago--i was fully aware it carried a degree of risk. as i went under the general anaesthetic--i wondered what would be the other end--lol. the next instant i woke up...but it was 3 hours later.

so far--so good.

my jw spy tells me that this is in st paul's road, peterborough.. as far as i can tell, he tells me some corporation bully boy is coming over from bethel.

so, the local jws have been tasked to clean it so it's fit for this visiting dignitary.. of course there are only a certain amount of invites available and nepotism rules.

can anyone guide me through the process of posting photos here using an android tablet (acer iconia).. i've finally worked out how to copy / paste text..but photos have got me beat.. kiss please..i'm no nerd.. i usually use a lenovo laptop.

.but it's in for repair.

I usually use a lenovo laptop. .but it's in for repair. Life was so simple on that. It's taken me longer to correct all the mistakes this damn gadget keeps making than it took to type it...I hate it. Never buy one.
